Thank you for your interest in Make Some Noise! A Youth Poetry Anthology. Since 2006, we have been committed to publishing inspiring contemporary poetry and prose by young voices. For more than 15 years, we have remained dedicated to amplifying the words of youth from the United States and around the world.
We welcome unsolicited submissions of original poetry, as well as poetry in translation, from writers ages 12–18. Submissions will be open from January 31 – March 10, 2025, or until we reach our limit of 150 poems. Once this limit is met, submissions will close. If you do not see the option to submit, it means we have reached capacity.
Don’t wait—lift your voice and make some noise! Your words matter, your story deserves to be heard, and the world is listening.
You can submit your work on this site, or send your properly formatted submissions to thewriter@terryaoneal.com Please submit no more than three poems. Combine all poems into a single document and upload as a Word or PDF file.
